What you will enjoy doing
- Develop and expand global sourcing strategies for PET and HDPE bales and flakes
- Identify, evaluate and onboard new partners in plastic waste collection, sorting and recycling
- Screen international markets for recyclers, collectors, licensors and technology partners
- Drive and coordinate closed‑loop initiatives across the ALPLA recycling network
- Support the development of new rPET and rHDPE raw material sources in close collaboration with product development and operations
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to generate and implement innovative recycling concepts
- Represent ALPLA Recycling at industry events, meetings and conferences
- Support supplier qualification and supplier audits within the recycling value chain
- Build and maintain a knowledge base on waste management, recycling technologies, and sustainability trends

Das sind Ihre Aufgaben
- Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer globalen Sourcing-Strategie für Polyolefine, unter Berücksichtigung von Markttrends, Preisentwicklungen und regionalen Anforderungen.
- Auswahl, Bewertung und Weiterentwicklung strategischer Lieferantenpartnerschaften sowie Führung internationaler Vertrags- und Preisverhandlungen.
- Projektleitung zur Optimierung von Kosten, Versorgungssicherheit, Qualität und Innovationskraft.
- Analyse globaler Rohstoffmärkte sowie relevanter Indizes (z. B. ICIS) und Erstellung von Entscheidungsgrundlagen für das globale Management.
- Identifikation von Wertschöpfungspotenzialen durch alternative Rohstoffe, neue Technologien oder Prozessverbesserungen.
- Sicherstellung einer stabilen globalen Rohstoffversorgung inklusive aktivem Risikomanagement.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Finance sowie weiteren internen Stakeholdern zur effektiven Umsetzung der Einkaufsstrategie.
- Unterstützung der Nachhaltigkeits- und ESG‑Ziele durch verantwortungsvolle und zukunftsorientierte Beschaffung.
