What you will enjoy doing
- Develop and expand global sourcing strategies for PET and HDPE bales and flakes
- Identify, evaluate and onboard new partners in plastic waste collection, sorting and recycling
- Screen international markets for recyclers, collectors, licensors and technology partners
- Drive and coordinate closed‑loop initiatives across the ALPLA recycling network
- Support the development of new rPET and rHDPE raw material sources in close collaboration with product development and operations
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to generate and implement innovative recycling concepts
- Represent ALPLA Recycling at industry events, meetings and conferences
- Support supplier qualification and supplier audits within the recycling value chain
- Build and maintain a knowledge base on waste management, recycling technologies, and sustainability trends

Das sind deine Aufgaben
- Du lernst die gesamte Prozesskette des Kunststoffrecyclings kennen – von Sortierung, Waschen, Mahlen und Extrusion bis hin zu modernen Verarbeitungstechnologien.
- Das Trainee-Programm bereitet dich gezielt auf eine Rolle als Process Engineer vor. Du lernst, Recyclingprozesse zu analysieren, zu stabilisieren und weiterzuentwickeln, um unsere Werke effizient und nachhaltig zu betreiben.
- Du unterstützt das Tagesgeschäft und arbeitest mit Projektmanager:innen an Projekten zur Entwicklung neuer Recyclingmethoden und Materialströme.
- Begleitet von erfahrenen Kolleg:innen übernimmst du erste Verantwortung für kleinere Projekte und sammelst Führungserfahrung. Gleichzeitig erhältst du Einblicke in kommerzielle Aspekte – von der Materialbeschaffung bis zum Verkauf von rPET und rHDPE.
- Durch Einsätze in unseren internationalen Recyclingwerken vertiefst du dein Praxiswissen und lernst unser gesamtes Recycling-Ökosystem kennen, inklusive F&E, Nachhaltigkeit und regulatorischer Rahmenbedingungen.
- Ziel ist die Übernahme einer technischen Position (z. B. Process Engineer) mit Verantwortung für effiziente, stabile und nachhaltige Prozesse.

Das sind Ihre Aufgaben
- Abgeschlossene kaufmännische, technische oder betriebswirtschaftliche Ausbildung (Studium oder vergleichbar)
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im operativen Umfeld, idealerweise als Operations Manager, Projektleiter oder in ähnlicher Funktion
- Ausgeprägtes Prozess- und Organisationsverständnis
- Hands-on‑Mentalität und hohe Umsetzungsstärke
- Strukturierte, selbständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Kommunikationsstärke und Teamfähigkeit
- Sicherer Umgang mit gängigen IT‑ und Planungstools

Das sind Ihre Aufgaben
- Gesamtheitliche sicherheitstechnische Betreuung des Standortes im Bereich Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutz gemäß ASchG
- Organisation, Durchführung und Dokumentierung von internen Schulungen und Unterweisungen der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter
- Organisation und Verantwortung für den betrieblichen Brandschutz sowie die Abfallwirtschaft (inkl. Funktion als Brandschutzbeauftragter und Abfallbeauftragter)
- Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung des Rechtskataster-Systems
- Betreuung und Pflege des Gefahrstoffkatasters sowie der Intelex-Ereignisdatenbank
- Teilnahme an internen Gesundheits-Audits und Koordination des gesamten Prüfwesens
